This week’s challenge is to design a collectible trading card featuring ourselves as the main character, using Image Studio. Collecting trading cards is a long-standing tradition, and it brings a fun twist to branding.
I didn’t use the stationery niche for this one. I have another passion, which is Birth Cards (traditional playing cards as they relate to our calendar, which is a whole other story). I decided to use that niche for this challenge, because I really love images of playing cards in general, and frankly I wanted to see how Image Studio would handle it. I have tried generating cards on a couple of other platforms, and while I could tell that’s what they were, they didn’t turn out as crisp and clear as I would like them. Well, I was pretty floored by how great the cards turned out in Image Studio! I mean even the King is fantastic. The court cards are so much more intricate than the other cards, and this representation is just wonderful.
I regenerated this one in quite a few of the Art Styles, and I really liked pretty much all of them. I’m including the “Ink & Wash” style here because the scroll was fun, and I really like the dragons as part of the frame. I did not even ask for that in the regeneration with the Art Style.
